Bringing “The Outdoors, Indoors” is not just a trend these days, it’s a lifestyle. The connection to nature has never been stronger for most people, especially in times of such uncertainty throughout the world.
Traveling through Paris, London, Amsterdam and Frankfurt last week confirmed that in the coming year we will continue to see more products relating to and influenced by nature.
Bucket List Worthy-I know I am such a geek cause for years I wanted to attend ChristmasWorld in Frankfurt Germany but the timing of the show never seemed to jive with my travel schedule…well I made it jive this year and I have to say I am no longer curious!
Who knew, not me that is for sure, that I would hit the jackpot of shows which included ChristmasWorld-Floradecora-Creativeworld-PaperWorld.
As designers, inspiration is always important as it feeds our soul with fresh color, style and knowledge. It’s nice to see what the world is doing especially if it confirms the direction that you are heading in.
It’s shows like this that make me super proud of our design studio in NYC, Design Works International…after 29 years we still got it going on because our team is pretty awesome. We love what we do, who we do it for and never get tired of creating new…and it’s not always easy to reinvent designs each season, but somehow we keep it fresh and fun!
